Complex Food and Beverage Manager - Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55
About The Position
Come join the team at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square located in the heart of Downtown San Francisco! We are looking for a dynamic leader to step into the Complex Food and Beverage Manager position overseeing Food and Beverage operations within both complexed properties; Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55 San Francisco. Our hotels are located a block from the Curran and ACT theaters, and just two blocks from Union Square and Westfield San Francisco Centre. The Powell Street cable car turnaround, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Moscone Convention Center are within a mile. Our Hiton Union Square property is the largest in the Bay Area with 1921 rooms, over 150,000 square feet of meeting space with 44 meeting rooms. Our Parc 55 property has 1024 rooms with over 30,000 square feet of meeting space with 21 meeting rooms. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage management
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume restaurants, with a proven ability to handle significant guest numbers and operational demands.
- Extensive experience in bar and lounge operations
- Exceptional ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple F&B outlets simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 100 team members.
- Unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
- Working knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing unionized employees highly preferred
- Prior experience in a hotel F&B management role is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
- Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
- Implements effective control of food, beverage and labor costs.
- Helps maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding guest service.
