About The Position

Performs engineering work related to investigating and solving basic problems associated with the research, design, development, service, and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft. The role provides technical assistance to engineering staff and completes discrete engineering tasks on schedule, applying engineering knowledge and company procedures to resolve routine issues. Work is closely supervised and follows established procedures and methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related curriculum, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Entry-level position requiring 0 to 18 months of experience.
• Ability to convey technical concepts in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Work is closely supervised or monitored and follows established procedures and methods.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related degree field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and complete discrete engineering tasks on schedule.
• Apply engineering knowledge and company procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Analyze and evaluate results of project activities.
• Prepare recommendations for changes and compile reports for department supervision.
• Recognize discrepancies or problems with analysis or test results and work toward corrective action.
• Work to improve daily processes and ensure work meets customer requirements.
• Continue learning and developing knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the assigned field.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
