About The Position

Join Accenture Federal Services as a Competitive Intelligence Specialist and play a crucial role in driving smarter, faster, and more strategic decision-making across critical pursuits. In this high-impact role, you will leverage advanced data management practices, AI/LLM tools (including Claude, G4G, Claude Code), and deep market intelligence to uncover actionable insights that shape deal strategy and enhance our competitive edge. You will analyze complex datasets, interpret competitor actions, predict federal spending trends, and lead initiatives such as Black Hats, win/loss analyses, and lessons-learned efforts. The insights generated will be translated into clear and compelling briefs for senior leadership and capture teams. This role is ideal for a sharp analyst with exceptional communication skills and a passion for transforming data into strategy.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in competitive intelligence, business development, capture management, or market research within the federal contracting/government services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the full business development lifecycle — opportunity identification through post-award win/loss analysis.
  • Experience working with or supporting capture managers, account leads, and BD leadership.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs), and the FAR.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GovWin, Bloomberg Government, DACIS, SAM.gov, USASpending, GovTribe, Claude, G4G.

Responsibilities

  • Use competitive intelligence strategy to assess market trends, competitive landscape, and positioning of our leading competitors.
  • Research and analyze large complex data sets leveraging AI/LLM tools.
  • Provide actionable insights and growth recommendations based on in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and client research.
  • Provide competitive intelligence advisory on deal pursuits to help improve sales positioning.
  • Use AI-driven analytics to surface emerging trends, competitor insights, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Introduce new/emerging AI-based tools to support content development and automated market intelligence capabilities.
