About The Position

We are looking for an individual that has experience with competitive gymnastics, can work easily with co-workers, and is excited to watch their athletes grow and strive in both practice and competitions. Coaches will support their athletes in learning teamwork, sportsmanship, loyalty and commitment in a positive environment. Through training, coaches will focus on helping their athletes to set attainable goals not only in sport but in life.

Requirements

Experience with competitive gymnastics
Can work easily with co-workers
Excited to watch their athletes grow and strive in both practice and competitions
Support their athletes in learning teamwork, sportsmanship, loyalty and commitment in a positive environment
Help athletes set attainable goals not only in sport but in life
Minimum of two shifts per week

Responsibilities

Keep safety foremost for all athletes
Smile, inject fun in practice and competitions, make corrections to athletes, have good body language, and be animated
Use lesson plans to teach within set levels and have athletes achieve goals
Spot, shape and mold students to perfect skill technique
Take direction from competitive department leader to increase teamwork and successful training
Be a team player
Maintain consistent attendance in your set schedule to provide stability and continued progression for athletes
