About The Position
10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for experienced competition law experts based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and practical applicability of AI-powered compliance and legal systems. This role involves reviewing and refining AI-generated outputs across topics including competition law, antitrust policy, regulatory compliance, merger control, and enforcement actions. You will evaluate AI responses for legal realism, soundness, and accurate real-world applicability, draft realistic competition law scenarios informed by your direct experience, create variations of scenarios from different perspectives, and identify gaps, oversimplifications, or flawed logic in AI-generated legal content. In simple terms: You will evaluate and improve AI-generated competition law content, ensuring it mirrors authentic legal reasoning, robust logic, and industry best practices. Instead of traditional legal consulting, you’ll use your expertise to help AI systems truly understand and reason about competition law at scale.
Requirements
- Experienced competition law specialist who instinctively spots gaps in reasoning and understands the practical complexities of competition compliance
- Senior competition law specialist, legal counsel, regulatory policy expert, compliance officer, or similar
- Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK
- Several years of practical experience in competition law (antitrust), regulatory compliance, or related fields
- Strong at distinguishing between legal theory and sound, practical solutions
- Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback
- Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term availability
