About The Position
10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for knowledgeable procurement professionals based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and real-world relevance of AI-powered procurement systems. This role involves applying your procurement expertise to help AI systems understand and reason about procurement processes at scale, rather than conducting traditional procurement work.
Requirements
- Experienced procurement manager who instinctively spots gaps in procurement reasoning and understands the complex realities of sourcing and supplier management.
- 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your main job or consulting projects.
- Knowledgeable procurement professionals based in the EU or UK.
- Senior-level procurement expert with significant professional experience within the EU or UK.
- Experienced in advising on, preparing, and executing sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement documentation.
- Skilled at evaluating processes, technical requirements, and compliance.
- Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback.

Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated outputs related to procurement, sourcing, contract management, regulations, and practical aspects of procurement work.
- Evaluate AI responses for technical accuracy, practicality, and compliance with real-world requirements.
- Draft realistic procurement scenarios based on your direct professional experience.
- Create scenario variations from different perspectives (e.g. procurement manager, supplier, business stakeholder, or auditor).
- Identify gaps, oversights, or weak reasoning in AI-generated procurement content.
