About The Position

This role supports compensation operations and reporting activities to manage increased pipeline volume associated with a new product launch. The contractor will execute and coordinate manual processes for reconciling compensation-related data across multiple CRM platforms and booking systems due to integration gaps. They will also conduct audits to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation, develop recommendations for reducing manual effort, and manage benchmark survey submissions. A key responsibility includes owning Workday job infrastructure data quality, including job code maintenance, hierarchy updates, and job description accuracy. The role supports analytical and operational needs for annual bonus, equity, salary, and rewards cycles, focusing on data validation, reconciliation, and reporting. Collaboration with HR Technology, Sales Operations, and Compensation teams is essential for documenting integration gaps and business requirements. The contractor will also plan and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce operational risk, diagram and evaluate existing processes, and develop metrics for process measurement and automation readiness. They will collect data to identify root causes of issues, measure performance, align initiatives to shortfalls, and provide consultation on process redesign. Delivering presentations and training materials, surveying best practices, and communicating progress to stakeholders are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Experience working with large datasets across multiple systems, including data reconciliation, validation, and reporting activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve or streamline manual business processes through automation, workflow redesign, or analytical solutions.
  • Experience supporting operational processes in environments with multiple source systems and incomplete system integration preferred.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and their application to data-heavy workflows; experience piloting or evaluating new tools stands out as a key differentiator.
  • Experience with Workday, CRM platforms, or comparable enterprise systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical instincts with high attention to detail, data accuracy, and process integrity.
  • Excellent collaboration skills; comfort working across Compensation, HR, Sales Operations, Finance, and Technology teams.
  • Self-starter orientation with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity; able to adapt as business needs evolve and operational demands fluctuate.

  • 2–4 years of analytical experience; compensation, HR, finance, sales operations, or business operations background preferred.

  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities and automation readiness.
  • Collects data to identify root causes of operational issues and data discrepancies across systems.
  • Measures performance against process requirements and service-level expectations.
  • Aligns improvement initiatives to performance shortfalls and operational capacity needs.
  • Provides consultation on process redesign opportunities that improve operational efficiency, data quality, and scalability.
  • May deliver presentations and training materials related to process documentation, data quality standards, and operational best practices.
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for compensation operations, data management, and process automation.
  • Communicates project and process improvement progress to stakeholders.
