About The Position

This is a detail-oriented hybrid role as a compensation analyst and office management. This position will ensure smooth day-to-day office operations while playing a critical role in the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs that support the organization’s talent strategy and business objectives. This position partners with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to ensure pay practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with market trends and internal compensation philosophy. The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive compensation experience, total rewards, or human resources ideally in high-growth environment
  • BA/BSc. In Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or other related field preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced excel modeling skills (lookups, pivots, nesting functions)
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and reconciliation experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to work independently with a focus on continuous improvement and a solution oriented approach

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor experience a plus
  • Experience with job architecture and equity programs preferred
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional)
  • Semiconductor/Optics/Networking industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market analyses, participation in salary survey submission, and competitive benchmarking to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity and translate insights into actionable outcomes
  • Support with the administration of the annual and mid-year compensation cycles, providing consultation, system testing, and audits
  • Build, maintain, and enhance compensation models across total rewards programs including variable incentives (bonus, MBO, equity), budget forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Partner with total rewards, talent acquisition, people business partners, finance, other departments to ensure alignment, provide guidance, and support for compensation initiatives
  • Conduct audits to ensure compensation related information (salary, variable targets, job architecture, ranges, equity etc) are maintained across applicable systems
  • Develop and enhance scalable compensation tools, processes, documentation, and governance frameworks to support consistent and efficient administration of compensation programs.
  • Serve as first point of contact for office activities providing vendor management coordination and overseeing support staff
  • Manage office supply inventory and restocking for both office and breakroom supplies
  • Manage overall office safety and compliance requirements
  • Event planning coordinating
  • New hire orientation in person for Ottawa office
