About The Position

Analyzes, designs, implements, and evaluates compensation programs and incentive compensation plans to ensure competitive, equitable, compliant, and business-aligned practices. Supports the full lifecycle of incentive compensation programs, including plan design, governance, administration, risk assessment, reporting, process improvement, technology enablement, and strategic projects. Manages large, moderately complex compensation initiatives, provides consultation and guidance to business leaders and partners, and develops solutions to complex compensation and incentive compensation challenges. Position has in office expectations 5 days a week. Role can sit in Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL or Charlotte, NC. This is NOT a remote opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a compensation professional.
  • Strong working knowledge of compensation programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced graduate degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Market Data tools.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the design and administration of compensation programs including salary structures, incentive plans, and pay policies under limited supervision.
  • Reviews compensation plans covering base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, deferred compensation, and sales compensation.
  • Analyzes compensation through job analysis, classification, benchmarking, and participation in market surveys.
  • Identifies, develops, and supports non-cash rewards and recognition programs to enhance employee engagement.
  • Performs analysis of general compensation-related issues and draws from prior experience to make adjustments or recommend enhancements to solve problems.
  • Analyzes and reviews competitive compensation assessments and makes recommendations to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Understands regulatory requirements related to compensation programs.
  • Works on large, moderately complex compensation and reward program projects and assignments and provides guidance to lower-level professionals.
