About The Position

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a strategic, analytical, and people-focused Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead their Total Rewards programs. This role is part of the People & Culture team, acting as a strategic business partner to help employees and the company succeed. The ideal candidate will be passionate about compensation strategy, payroll excellence, employee benefits, and using data to drive business decisions. This position will partner with leaders across People & Culture, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to ensure competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, and accurate payroll while maintaining multi-state compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, finance, or Total Rewards
  • Experience managing multi-state payroll
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, salary administration, market pricing, and incentive programs
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide compensation strategy, salary structures, market pricing, and annual compensation planning.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
  • Manage multi-state payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide reporting, analytics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Build programs that help attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent.
  • Lead and enhance compensation programs by developing competitive pay strategies, conducting market analyses, maintaining salary structures, supporting annual compensation planning, and partnering with Talent Acquisition and leadership to ensure fair, competitive compensation practices.
  • Oversee employee benefits and retirement programs, including vendor partnerships, open enrollment, benefits administration, and 401(k) oversight, while continually evaluating program effectiveness and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Manage multi-state payroll operations to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, reporting, payroll controls, and continuous process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing meaningful reporting and analytics that support business decisions. Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, monitor regulatory changes, support audits, and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk.
