The Compensation team provides consultation and informs decision-making in alignment with UCSF’s goals of attracting and retaining talent. The team offers consultation, research, and analytical services to support UCSF leaders in the following areas: Implementation of rewards strategy, salary and equity guidelines, at-risk plans, market data analyses, and job classification processes. Assist management in job design and position classification structure. Administration of UCSF's compensation practices and processes within the University of California system-wide policies. Participate in salary surveys to obtain competitive pay data and practices. The Compensation Analyst will consult with and support UCSF leaders while operating independently on assigned department’s compensation administration, program review and execution, presentations and trainings, resource needs, guidelines and communication materials. Assists with the design, implementation and monitoring of new HR/Compensation systems and/or upgrades. Researches best practices and provides recommendations for improvements in procedures, policies, programs and client service standards.
