About The Position

We're Whole Life Home Care, a compassionate in-home care agency serving families throughout San Diego North County. We're looking for a warm, reliable Companion Caregiver who understands that sometimes the greatest gift you can give a client is your time, your attention, and a genuine human connection. Requirements

A genuine passion for people; this is the most important qualification
Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
Valid California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
Current TB test and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass a background check
Dependable, punctual, and professional

Nice To Haves

1+ year of caregiving, companion care, or related experience
Patient, warm, and emotionally intuitive; you read a room naturally

Responsibilities

Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support that reduces isolation and brightens daily life
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, social outings, and community activities
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
Help with meal preparation and grocery shopping
Provide medication reminders and monitor overall well-being
Engage clients in hobbies, conversation, games, and activities they enjoy
Offer family members peace of mind knowing their loved one is in caring, capable hands
