In this role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver premium, in-home care to senior individuals, allowing them to safely and comfortably age in their own homes. A private client in ( South East, Calgary) is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality support and companionship. The ideal candidate is dependable, kind, and comfortable in a home with pets, with an added interest in sports—especially American football.Ideal candidate must also drive and own a vehicle
Requirements
- A passion for the job and helping others
- Access to reliable transportation and valid insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check
- A hunger to learn how to best care for your clients
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Companion /Assistant, or similar position.
Responsibilities
- Establish open communication with seniors and their families
- Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, transfers
