About The Position

CareOne Senior Care is looking for reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care for seniors and adults throughout Highland Park, Michigan. Requirements

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have a caring, dependable, and positive attitude
• Can work independently in a client's home
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and auto insurance
• Can successfully pass a criminal background check
• Have a current TB test or are willing to obtain one before starting

Nice To Haves

• Home care, personal care, CNA, direct care, and caregiving experience are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Preparing meals and helping clients stay hydrated
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Completing light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Assisting with walking, mobility, and safe transfers
• Offering medication reminders as directed by the care plan
• Accompanying clients on errands or to them appointments when needed
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting any concerns
• Documenting completed care at the end of each visit
