About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is seeking kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs to join their Caregiver family. With over 20 years of experience, Home Helpers Home Care provides exceptional comprehensive home care services. They offer support from owners, continuous training and learning opportunities, career growth, competitive pay rates, and an atmosphere of appreciation. This specific role is for a part-time Caregiver to provide companion care every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The position offers immediate start availability.

Requirements

Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Current CNA license
A reliable car
A valid driver's license and auto insurance
Reliable transportation
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to understand care plans and assessments
Current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities

Companionship
Meal preparation
Monitoring blood pressure
Providing transportation, including driving the client to and from church every Sunday (service is from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM)
Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
Light housekeeping
Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
Assist with medication reminders
Assist with ambulation
Monitor BP and glucose levels
Aiding with activities of daily living
Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
