Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus one to two years experience in related human service field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication, organizational and event planning.
• Public speaking and excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements.
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
• organize and lead orientation and ongoing training for program volunteers and parents/students
• supervise and support mentor matches and serve as a positive resource and reliable presence for volunteers, students and their families
