About The Position

Caring Transitions of Englishtown & Marlboro, NJ is seeking Community Transition Ambassadors to educate older adults and their families throughout Monmouth County and surrounding communities. The role is especially suited to retired or semi-retired professionals, as well as others passionate about serving older adults, who want flexible, meaningful work and supplemental income.

Ambassadors represent Caring Transitions as trusted local resources—not as traditional salespeople. They help people understand options for downsizing, relocating, managing an estate, and preparing for life's next chapter by educating them, building relationships, answering questions, sharing resources, and connecting families with support. Caring Transitions provides presentation materials, training, brochures, business cards, branded apparel, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Enjoy meeting new people and speaking with small groups.
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Be comfortable networking and public speaking.
• Be dependable, professional, and compassionate.
• Be active in a community, church, volunteer organization, club, or senior living community.

Nice To Haves

• Retired or semi-retired status, or a passion for serving older adults.
• Experience in education, healthcare, real estate, customer service, nonprofit organizations, social work, community leadership, or volunteer service.

Responsibilities

• Present educational programs at libraries, senior centers, churches, civic organizations, retirement communities, and other community organizations.
• Build relationships with local organizations serving older adults and their families.
• Represent Caring Transitions at community events and select networking opportunities.
• Answer questions and provide helpful resources.
• Introduce families to Caring Transitions when its services may be beneficial.
• Help expand Caring Transitions' reputation as a trusted community resource.

Benefits

• Flexible schedule.
• Performance-based earnings with a $100 client acquisition bonus for each new client who signs a service agreement as a direct result of the ambassador's community outreach or educational presentations.
