This position involves assisting in the monitoring of a residential program for individuals experiencing homelessness, with a primary focus on maintaining a safe environment. The role requires engaging individuals in an approachable and empathetic manner, performing rounds, and addressing their varied needs. Responsibilities include managing conflict or challenging behaviors with self-awareness, emphasizing safety and trust-building, and understanding each person's unique experience. The Community Technician will also be responsible for screening residents and visitors, creating written documentation (logbook entries, incident reports, progress notes), managing inventory, maintaining fire safety drills and logs, providing emergency first aid/CPR assistance/NARCAN, assisting with inspections and audits, escorting clients, serving meals, and helping to maintain an orderly and clean facility. Related duties as assigned. This position is subject to mandatory overtime.
