About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Community Talent Consultant to help identify prospective employees throughout Independence, Missouri, and surrounding communities. This is a community-facing role combining recruiting, outreach, and relationship building rather than typical desk-based recruiting. The consultant builds partnerships and connects talented people with career opportunities at Phoenix. The role involves attending career fairs and other events, visiting schools and healthcare organizations, generating candidate leads, and working with recruiters and hiring leaders to support hiring needs. The consultant travels throughout the Independence area, with occasional evening and weekend activities.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with schools, hospitals, healthcare organizations, community groups, and workforce partners.
Represent Phoenix at career fairs, hiring events, networking events, and community activities.
Generate candidate leads and connect them with the recruiting team.
Share Phoenix’s culture, mission, and career opportunities.
Identify new partnerships and creative ways to attract talent.
Work with recruiters and hiring leaders to support hiring needs.
Track outreach, relationships, events, and results.
Travel throughout the Independence area, with occasional evenings and weekends.
