The Day Habilitation Trainer works under the general supervision of the ICF/HCS Program Coordinator. The employee is responsible for facilitating outcomes for people with disabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: This individual is responsible for and has the ability to provide day habilitation to individuals with mental and physical disabilities, speech impairment, in one or more phases of habilitation or vocational services, instruction, supervision, documentation, record keeping, safety, transportation and quality control. Some overnight travel may be required. The trainer will ensure compliance with HCS Principles, ICF/IID regulations, and Quality Assurance Improvement System (QAIS). The employee is responsible for facilitating outcomes for people with disabilities in accordance with QAIS. HFC incorporates principles of trauma-informed care, which includes cultural sensitivity, in all areas of service delivery.
