About The Position

Duties consist of but are not limited to providing services that aid with independent living tasks, and daily life skills, to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This position also provides transportation to and from homes and various places in the community, aiding in meaningful daytime activities for purposes of community integration, appropriate social skills, meeting responsibilities, and being responsive to individual’s special needs. This position requires professional working relationships with clients, family members, family staff, nursing facility staff, administration, therapist, employers, and workforce. Must drive agency vehicles responsibly, within the region, and during working hours.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a Texas driver’s license.
Must have a clear driving record for the previous 3 years.
Must have a valid auto insurance card.
Proficient writing and verbal communication skills necessary.
Basic computer & data entry essential.
Excellent time management and scheduling skills essential.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
