Community Support Specialist - Cornerstone
About The Position
Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. Columbia Community Mental Health’s Cornerstone Residential Treatment Facility in St. Helens, Oregon is a 24/7, 16-bed psychiatric residential treatment program that supports adults, young adults, and seniors (65+) facing severe and persistent mental illness. Housed at 271 Columbia Blvd, it offers a safe and structured environment where residents receive: Position: Community Support Specialist Department: Residential (Cornerstone) Shift: Friday - Tuesday, 7:00am to 3:30pm Salary Range: $22.86 - $30.47 (hourly). We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalency preferred
- At least one-year experience working with individuals with mental health needs
- Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and monitoring client activities
- Assisting with daily living needs
- Administering and documenting medications accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organized facility
- Preparing meals
- Providing transportation for clients
- Attending meetings
- Completing required documentation
- Providing respite coverage at multiple facilities
