This role also acts as an ambassador for the organization, integrating clients into the community and educating others about disabilities and the organization's services. Collaboration with community systems, providing transportation, personal care, and administering First Aid/CPR are key responsibilities. The specialist will supervise or administer medication, identify allergies, communicate client information, and may take on specific program assignments or provide on-the-job training to other support providers. Documentation of services, maintaining confidentiality, and attending meetings and trainings are also required.
