About The Position

The Mary T Family of Companies is seeking a part-time Community Support Professional to support an individual with disabilities in Bladensburg, Maryland. The Community Support Professional (CSP) supports individuals so they can live a self-directed life and participate in the community. This position will be responsible for working with 1 individual, during one of the two schedules specified below. Schedules Available: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (24 hrs/week) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 9:00 PM (15 hrs/wk) Candidates MUST be able to work this schedule as listed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a reliable vehicle
Flexibility to commute to other areas, if needed
Must have the ability to pass a background and motor vehicle record check
Must be able to attend a 4-day orientation held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Millersville, MD
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Transportation (shopping, errands, appointments, to/from work)
On-the-job coaching and support
Activities of daily living

Teaching basic life skills like money management, budgeting, technology use, medication management, and more.
