About The Position
The Community Support Coach at CHOICE Crystal Lake is a full-time position responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of programming that promotes client independence and acquisition of functional skills. This role involves assisting individuals served in community outings, developing appropriate curriculum for implementing client program objectives and employment opportunities, and providing hands-on assistance to clients with activities of daily living, which may include feeding and toileting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of programming that promotes client independence and acquisition of functional skills.
- Assist individuals served in community outings.
- Assist in developing appropriate curriculum for implementing client program objectives and employment opportunities.
- Provide hands-on assistance to clients with activities of daily living which may include feeding and toileting.
