Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required from a college or university in related field (preferred)
- Six months to one-year of peer leadership, Community Relations experience; planning events, volunteering, fundraising
- Ability to be onsite M-F, holidays, weekends, and nights as needed
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and display critical thinking skills
- Self-improver, possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
- Assist CSR with planning and execution of Pistons Mentoring programs.
- Support ongoing planning, tracking and visibility of the internal volunteer program.
- Assist with tracking and distribution of in-kind donations of promotional items for local non-profit organizations and company affiliates.
- Coordinate and assist with the operation of Community & Player Ticket Programs.
- Assist with fundraising efforts and execution of community programs for the Detroit Pistons Foundation.
- Serve as CSR game-night support staff as needed.
- Support CSR Motor City Cruise initiatives and activations as needed.
- Aide members of the department with all other projects, as assigned.
- Assist with Human Resources duties as needed.
- Serve as leader and liaison of the internship class.
