About The Position

Assists patients and staff as required in the daily operation of health clinic. Prepares equipment for transportation to satellite clinics. Maintains records of patients and services provided by clinic. Inventories literature and forms and orders and updates forms as necessary. Collects fees and makes change and inputs fees into account receivable log. Keeps maintenance logs and assures all upkeep of the units. Schedules clinic appointments. Maintains patient's electronic medical records/data entry. Answers telephone and responds to inquiries or directs to appropriate person. Provides outreach services via mobile unit and satellite clinic. Assists in auditing daycare and schools to ensure they are in compliance with state regulations. Participates in weekend or evening immunization clinics, health fairs, community outreach and other program functions as needed. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 6 months job related experience.
  • Good computer and typing skills 35 WPM preferred.
  • Good data entry skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact and deal effectively with the public and all levels of employees.
  • Organizational skills; ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadline and to prioritize own work.
