About The Position

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Community Safety & Security Professional to join the Community Safety & Security Department. Troubadour Community Safety & Security Professionals are a part of a highly trained professional team of safety, security, and medical responders and are encouraged to contribute their knowledge and skill for the benefit of the community and department. As part of the Department, you will be responsible for the safety and well-being of all members, guests, employees, and contractors at The Troubadour Club. You will be responsible for deterring, detecting, and responding to potential and/or active threats directed at Troubadour members, guests, employees, contractors, and property. As part of the Department, you must be prepared to act accordingly within the guidelines set forth by the Troubadour Community Safety & Security Department policies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Armed Security (3 years minimum), Law Enforcement, or Military.
  • Valid and current Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training.
  • Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
  • Clear Criminal Background.
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
  • Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high duress situations.
  • Must be able to work and stand inside/outside during all weather conditions.
  • Able to physically restrain individuals when the condition to detain exists.
  • Able to pass Quarterly Shooting Qualification.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with a working knowledge of basic computer functions and programs (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, etc.)
  • Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high stress situations.

Responsibilities

  • Able to perform an advanced level protection services for members, guest, employees, and contractors while assigned to a designated post at the Troubadour Golf & Field Club.
  • Provide superior customer service within the standards of the Department.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide the appropriate level of first aid.
  • Conduct proficiency and development training to include quarterly firearm qualification, tactics training as well as monthly sustainment training.
  • Provide access-control utilizing sound judgment and company provided tools such as access control systems or access control lists and logs. Detect, investigate, and deny access to unauthorized persons.
  • Recognize and escalate to management all safety hazards and security vulnerabilities detected through the course of shift.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with a working knowledge of basic computer functions and programs. (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, etc.)
  • Maintain valid Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training and valid CPR & First Aid certificates.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time, up to and including an entire shift.
  • May be required to work outside of regular work hours at short notice.
  • Work is normally performed inside and outside. Temperatures and weather conditions may vary.
  • Able to pass the Shooting Qualification prior to offer and quarterly thereafter.
