About The Position

The Just One Project's mission is to increase access to food, resources, and supportive services to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. The Just One Project has a culture of attracting the most passionate and talented people to represent The Just One Project by reinforcing strong values, work life balance, and diversity. We know that our company culture ultimately affects client experience. Every program is designed with our clients in mind; we are "client-centric." Everything we do is guided by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion, and by our Gold Standard of service. We believe every person who walks through our doors deserves to be treated with the same care, dignity, and respect as you'd want for your own family, whether they're picking up groceries or asking for help with something much harder. We're looking for someone who doesn't just agree with these values, but lives them out in how they treat every neighbor they serve. As a Community Resource Navigator, you'll be the first friendly face and first point of connection for community members walking through our doors, often on one of the hardest days of their week. You'll listen, assess what someone needs, and connect them to the right support quickly and with compassion, whether that's food, housing, healthcare, benefits, or employment resources. This role moves fast and matters deeply. You won't just be processing intakes. You'll be building the relationships, inside our programs and across the community, that make sure every neighbor who walks in gets connected to real help. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On weeks with a scheduled Pop Up & Give event, staff work a half day Friday and a Saturday shift instead of the standard Friday, or another adjusted day as approved by their supervisor. This occurs approximately 6 times per year.
