The Community Resource Manager connects the generosity of our community directly to the needs of the people we serve. From household essentials for families moving into housing, to school supplies, holiday support, food access, and everyday necessities for our shelters and programs, this position turns community support into practical resources that make a meaningful difference. Working closely with program leadership, the Chief Program Officer, Philanthropy, Volunteer Services, and community partners, the Community Resource Manager coordinates the identification, sourcing, purchasing, tracking, and distribution of donated goods and other non-monetary resources across YWCA programs. This includes building and maintaining relationships with corporations, businesses, and community organizations to grow YWCA's network of partners and ensure donors receive appropriate acknowledgement. The position also leads seasonal giving initiatives, including Holiday Giving, back-to-school distributions, Mother's Day and Father's Day activities, and other special events. In addition, the Community Resource Manager oversees the YWCA Central Area Food Bank at Cherry Street, including supervision of two part-time employees and coordination with volunteers and community partners. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing people, resources, and details together. Success requires strong organization, communication, relationship building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and resource needs across a large, multi-program organization.
