About The Position

This is a full-time ACC AmeriCorps position with Mission of Love Charities. The American Connection Corps (ACC), an AmeriCorps program of Lead For America (LFA), is a service fellowship program aimed at helping communities build the digital connectivity necessary to expand opportunity and economic mobility, ranging from healthcare access to quality employment. ACC Members spend a year serving with locally-rooted organizations, helping address the digital divide and strengthen access to opportunity. Through their service, they gain hands-on experience, build in-demand skills, and explore career pathways while making a tangible impact in their communities. Mission of Love Charities is dedicated to providing comprehensive, wrap-around services to homeless and low-income families and individuals. We recognize the severe health, economic, and social challenges faced by those living on the margins of society. Our commitment is to address these critical needs by alleviating food insecurity through essential food supplies, combating housing insecurity with rental assistance and deposit support, and fostering economic stability by offering vital workforce training and development. We empower individuals and families with the resources and support they need to not just survive but thrive. The AmeriCorps Member will support staff-led office operations, community outreach, client engagement, and workforce development activities that increase access to services for individuals served by MOLC. Under the guidance, supervision, and direction of program staff, the Member will assist with community outreach, client support, workforce program coordination, and service documentation to help connect community members to available resources and services.
