About The Position

The Institute for Engagement + Negotiation (IEN) is hiring an SRA to support the Resilience Action Feasibility Tool (RAFT), a 3 university collaborative that helps Virginia’s localities and Tribes improve their resilience. This position will allow an SRA to gain hands-on experience working with communities in policy, planning, and climate adaptation.

Responsibilities

  • Qualitative research and analysis.
  • Report and meeting summary development.
  • Stakeholder mapping and outreach / engagement with RAFT communities and faculty affiliates.
  • Cataloging products for addition to the website.
  • Coordinating partners to schedule meetings.
  • Preparing meeting materials.
  • Attending team meetings and workshops.
  • Preparing after meeting summaries and notes.
  • Ensuring proper communication with partners for follow through on action items.
