About The Position

Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking an exceptional Community Relations Representative, referred to as the 'Community Relations Star'. This role will be central to the mission of highlighting hospice services in local areas. The position involves scouting new business territories, forging key alliances, and directing sales and marketing strategies to promote hospice services. The representative will build relationships with potential referral sources such as physicians, hospital discharge planners, social workers, and leaders of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities to identify new business opportunities and increase awareness of Inspire Hospice's programs.

Requirements

Previous healthcare experience is required.
Experience in hospice, home health, post-acute care, or related fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with impressive follow-through.
Familiarity with local senior support resources, advanced directives, and challenges faced by chronically or terminally ill patients and families.
Proficient in fundamental computer skills and knowledge of basic business software.

Nice To Haves

College degree in business, marketing, or nursing is a plus.
