About The Position

Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking an exceptional Community Relations Representative, referred to as our Community Relations Star. This role involves taking center stage in the mission to shine a spotlight on hospice services in local areas. The position offers a competitive pay range of $90,000 to $140,000 annually, including commission. As the Community Relations Star, you will scout new business territories, forge key alliances, and direct a stellar sales and marketing strategy to illuminate hospice services in the community. You will build relationships with potential referral sources such as physicians, hospital discharge planners, social workers, and leaders of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities to identify new business opportunities and raise awareness of Inspire Hospice's programs.

Requirements

Previous healthcare experience is required
Experience in hospice, home health, post-acute care, or related fields
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills with impressive follow-through
Familiarity with local senior support resources, advanced directives, and challenges faced by chronically or terminally ill patients and families
Proficient in fundamental computer skills and knowledge of basic business software

Nice To Haves

College degree in business, marketing, or nursing is a plus
