This position is responsible for managing, developing, implementing, and sustaining community relations programs and initiatives throughout the state of Delaware. The role involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships with community stakeholders, advocacy organizations, and advisory committees for all health plan populations. The representative will collaborate with quality improvement and medical management teams to assess systemic needs and develop health improvement initiatives. Additionally, they will develop and implement community outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and membership, identify and cultivate relationships with community partners for public policy initiatives, and manage the charitable giving program. This role serves as the primary contact for the health plan at community events and meetings, oversees community events and presentations, and produces reports and marketing materials. The position requires adherence to regulations and company policies. The candidate MUST reside in Delaware and will be field-based with 100% travel within the state.
