About The Position

Mosaic is seeking a Community Relations Manager to represent the organization in the local community and advance its mission of empowering people. The manager will build community partnerships, share stories about Mosaic’s work, engage faith groups, and cultivate relationships that support the organization’s mission. The role is based in Axtell, Nebraska, with the posting also describing community engagement in Beatrice, Nebraska. It is a full-time, exempt, day position, with flexibility for events and agency needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, or communications, or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar public relations, fundraising, or community relations role.
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours for community events.
Knowledge of modern communication principles, social media relations, and promotional strategies.
Skills in social media management, event coordination, and project management.

Grant writing experience.
Volunteer management experience.

Responsibilities

Develop community awareness plans, build partnerships, and showcase Mosaic’s work.
Recruit and direct volunteer teams while fostering connections across the local faith community.
Cultivate donor relationships, assist with local fundraising, and collaborate on grant proposals.
Represent Mosaic at local community events.
