About The Position

The Community Relations Intern assists with coordinating and implementing community relations programs and tasks, including communicating, tracking, and executing initiatives. The role supports community events, corporate campaigns, research, internal communications, volunteer event coordination, and networking on behalf of Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU). The position is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is part-time, with an estimated 20–25 hours per week.

Requirements

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enjoys working independently while also being part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time and strong attention to detail.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Nice To Haves

• College freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or master’s-level status, or recent college graduate within the last three months, with a focus in a business-related field.

Responsibilities
