Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland is seeking ambitious staff members for the Community Recruiter position. These individuals will be responsible for organizing one-time events designed to offer simple Girl Scout activities, boost community awareness, and strengthen Girl Scouts' position as community leaders in their local area. This role involves nurturing leads, assisting with event scheduling, and supporting new members through troop placement or the formation of new troops. With a focus on membership recruitment and retention in their assigned area, the Community Recruiter works collaboratively with all staff to ensure potential members are supported, and volunteers are prepared to deliver a high-quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Responsibilities are performed both inside and outside the office. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required, along with extensive travel up to 70 miles one way from the employee's work location. The hourly rate is $19.00-$19.50, and the position works 20-25 hours per week. Three positions are available, focusing on Rolla, Waynesville, and Osage Beach.
