About The Position

Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland is seeking applicants for their Community Recruiter position. This role is responsible for organizing one-time events that offer simple Girl Scout activities, boost community awareness, and strengthen Girl Scouts' position as community leaders in their local area. The position involves nurturing leads, assisting with event scheduling, and supporting new members through troop placement or the start of a new troop. With a focus on membership recruitment and retention in their assigned area, the Community Recruiter works collaboratively with all staff to ensure potential members are supported and volunteers are prepared to deliver a high-quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Responsibilities are performed both inside and outside the office. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required, along with extensive travel up to 70 miles one way from the employee's work location. Four positions are available in Springfield, Branson, Joplin, and Bolivar.
