About The Position

Beach Front Property Management is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Property Manager to support a residential community in Hawthorne. This role is perfect for an experienced Assistant Manager or Property Manager looking for flexible hours, hands-on involvement, and the unique benefit of discounted onsite living. You’ll be the heartbeat of the community serving as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and internal partners—while helping ensure daily operations run smoothly and residents feel truly at home.

Requirements

  • Previous property management experience
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord/tenant fundamentals
  • Strong customer service skills with a calm, solutions-focused mindset
  • Clear, professional written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams

  • Experience with Yardi Voyager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly property operations
  • Support the Regional Property Supervisor with performance and compliance initiatives
  • Market the community, lease homes, and maintain strong occupancy
  • Ensure all vacancies are pre-leased and filled within 30 days
  • Maintain full compliance with Fair Housing laws and all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Process rent, invoices, and financials using Yardi Voyager
  • Review rent rolls and delinquency reports daily
  • Prepare and serve required notices, including 3-day notices
  • Respond to resident concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Perform property inspections and ensure turn units are completed within 3–5 business days
  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests
  • Complete required reporting, including monthly market surveys
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and assist with emergency or on-call needs as required
  • Pitch in on additional responsibilities as needed
