The Community Prevention Manager provides leadership, coordination, and oversight for programs that support elders, veterans, families, and tribal communities across the five Wabanaki Territories. This position ensures programs are community-driven, culturally grounded, data-informed, and aligned with organizational priorities. The Community Prevention Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of tribal community public health programs; such as elder fall prevention, veteran and family support services, substance use and suicide prevention services, and other community prevention and health promotion efforts. The position works collaboratively with the five tribal communities in Maine, community and state partners, tribal leadership, and WPHW staff to strengthen protective factors, promote wellness, and address identified community needs.
