Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED General
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor
• BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
• PARA - Paramedic
• Minimum 5 years paramedic services Required

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years Virtual Care Emergency Preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive in-home visits to patients who are enrolled in the Virtual Care at Home program.
• Administers patients care that is consistent with state protocols including but not limited to medication administration, IV setup and administration, phlebotomy, dressing changes, and checking vital signs.
• Conducts patient education to the patient and family about their disease state, condition, and discharge plan.
• Coordinates with the care team for the care plan of the patient including discharge appointments, medical supply needs, medication needs, and other community resource referrals.
• Observes, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to drugs, treatments, and/or significant incidents back to the provider and care team.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
