About The Position

Aster Springs Outpatient Cincinnati, located in Mason, Ohio, specializes in treating eating disorders for adults and teens (16+) of all genders in a supportive, home-like environment. The Community Outreach Liaison acts as a vital link between clinical partners, clients, and families, connecting them to appropriate clinical resources. This role involves educating communities, providers, clients, and families about eating disorder treatment services and supporting local admissions by serving as a concierge for incoming clients, families, and clinical partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of related experience in clinical admissions and business development in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Vehicle insurance.
  • Clear driving record for the last three years.

  • Master degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with local and national leadership team members to identify and cultivate strong community partnerships, elevating the facility's presence in the local market.
  • Targets follow-up meetings with all key referral sources, ensuring internal and external obstacles to growth and retention are identified and minimized.
  • Schedules and conducts tours with referral sources, clients, and families.
  • Communicates various levels of care to potential clients, families, and referral sources.
  • Guides clients and families toward appropriate treatment options, highlighting the benefits of treatment at the Outpatient Center based on individual needs.
  • Obtains necessary information to quickly determine the viability of potential admissions.
  • Resolves challenges posed by clients and families who are ambivalent about committing to necessary treatment options.
  • Leads callers toward the next step of deciding on admission.
  • Determines the clinical and financial viability of potential admissions.
  • Articulates the value and fit of facility programming to each potential client's circumstances and needs.
  • Utilizes appropriate bonding techniques to establish rapport, build relationships, and enhance customer service and support.
  • Offers a high level of customer service and communication to referral sources, clients, and families.
  • Partners with admissions decision-makers and stakeholders, including clients, family members, professional referral sources, facility administration, clinical leadership, admitting physicians, and utilization review coordinators.
  • Coordinates with the business office and Utilization Review to determine financing options for potential clients.
