About The Position

The Community Outreach Director provides strategic support and vision to community management teams while promoting a positive image to referral sources, residents, families, and guests to the community, ultimately driving census. This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, can follow up, and possesses influencing skills. It involves selling a lifestyle, comfort, security, and a home-like setting where residents thrive. Requirements

  • Two-year Associate Degree
  • Minimum of one year of sales and marketing experience or two years sales and marketing experience, preferably in the assisted living/memory care/senior living space.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Access to a personal car
  • Ability to travel frequently

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and carry out marketing calls and completing inbound marketing presentations by contacting discharge planners, doctors’ offices, senior centers, other healthcare clinics, and other organizations.
  • Answer telephone inquiries, send out brochures and make follow-up calls to close the deal.
  • Collaborate with the Community Relations Director to meet census goals by ongoing communication and meets standards set by the Executive Director and other regional sales leadership.
  • Conduct community tours, home visits, and assessments offering an overview of the services, lifestyle, convenience and benefits of the community, always following the company’s sales process, guidelines and philosophy.
  • Database documentation, paperwork, and keeping the Executive Director and department heads up to date on inquiries, tours, outreach plan and mover-ins and move-outs.
  • Represent the community in welcoming prospective residents, family members, referral sources and the public in a positive, helpful, and caring manner demonstrating community mission and philosophy.
  • Maintain an accurate database records of reserved and occupied units, communicating this information to the executive director and the sales and marketing director.
  • Prepare and distribute marketing reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attend business and community events where referral sources, prospective residents, care givers and their advisors are in attendance.
