Community Outreach Coordinator - Miles City
About The Position
One Health is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to promote health, connect individuals to resources, and strengthen rural communities through education and outreach. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping others and who thrives in a collaborative environment. The coordinator will conduct outreach to promote One Health services and programs, assist individuals in developing health/social management plans and goals, and design and implement prevention campaigns and education programs. Additionally, they will support enrollment in coverage and benefits, document encounters, maintain accurate electronic records, build relationships with healthcare providers, agencies, and tribal entities, and participate in community events, meetings, and trainings.
Requirements
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Professionalism, empathy, and clear boundaries
- Associate’s degree OR 4 years’ related experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1 year of experience in community outreach
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in health promotion, public health, or related field
- Certified Application Counselor (CAC)
- Experience in community outreach or healthcare
