Under supervision, provides outreach and social service assistance in support of the Clean and Sober Outreach and General Assistance program. Incumbent must be free from substance abuse for the last two (2) consecutive years. This role involves community engagement, client needs assessment, developing outreach strategies, informing clients of services, referring to appropriate providers, assisting with forms, advocating for clients, collaborating with local organizations, transporting clients to services, training the community on Overdose Prevention kits and Harm Reduction, organizing community events, maintaining records, and supporting administrative functions within the Behavioral Health Program. Employees may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties.
