About The Position

American Families for Vaccines (AFV) is a national organization leading the pro-vaccine grassroots movement across the country. Our state chapters, including Florida Families for Vaccines, defend strong vaccine policy, fight misinformation, and advocate for evidence-based public health. We work in close partnership with providers, advocates, policymakers, and public health leaders to create healthier communities and protect immunization access for all families. The Community Organizer will support Florida Families for Vaccines as a part-time organizer and strategic campaigner. This is a part-time position that combines hands-on grassroots organizing, political strategy, and public health advocacy. The Community Organizer will support chapter development, assist in coordination of legislative and non-legislative campaigns, build coalitions, develop local leadership, and serve alongside the State Director as the public face of the chapter.
