The Traumatic Psychological Injury program involves Occupational Therapists working with clients like first responders, utilizing interventions such as in-vivo exposure therapy, behavioral activation, and trauma processing, with innovative approaches like virtual reality. The Complex Auto program focuses on assessing and treating clients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments resulting from motor vehicle accidents, involving in-home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion and cognitive rehabilitation, and mental health treatment. OTs can choose to specialize in one area or manage a mixed caseload.
