Community Nurse- Shift Nurse

About The Position

CarePartners is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for a Part-Time position in the Stratford, ON and surrounding areas. This role involves providing nursing services within our fully equipped nursing clinics, offering a wide spectrum of services such as compression therapy, oncology support, hydration management, IV therapy, ostomy and wound care, and catheter management. The position requires developing and maintaining effective Care Plans and working with patients in-person. Hours of work are overnights within a 2-week rotation, inclusive of weekends.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
CPR Certification
Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
A current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
Working with patients in-person to provide exceptional nursing services
Providing a wide spectrum of services within our fully equipped nursing clinic (i.e. compression therapy, oncology support, hydration management, IV therapy ostomy and wound care, catheter management , etc.)
Performing other clinical duties as required
