About The Position
CarePartners is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for a Full-Time position as a School Shift Nurse in the Owen Sound and surrounding areas. This role involves working Monday to Friday during school hours, providing exceptional nursing services to patients in a variety of settings, including fully equipped nursing clinics. The position offers professional fulfillment, supportive culture, and opportunities for continuing education and flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
- A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- CPR Certification
- Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
- A current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
- Working with patients in-person to provide exceptional nursing services.
- Providing a wide spectrum of services within our fully equipped nursing clinic (i.e. compression therapy, oncology support, hydration management, IV therapy ostomy and wound care, catheter management , etc.).
- Performing other clinical duties as required.
